Normand Caissie named AQMAT’s Personality of the Year
During the 11th edition of the Gala Reconnaissance AQMAT (Association Québécoise de la quincaillerie et des matériaux de construction), held at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal on Saturday, November 11th, Normand Caissie received the Personality of the Year award.
In front of a record audience of 530 people, Caissie graciously accepted his award, a first for someone living outside the province of Quebec, which was presented to him by Christelle Cormier, CEO of AQMAT.
After taking part in a plant tour and a presidential interview with Richard Darveau, President of AQMAT, Caissie was chosen as Personality of the Year for his lifelong career, punctuated by his appointment to the Order of Canada.
