Applications
TUBE: Installing fiberglass gasket in wood stove doors. Metal to metal, metal to masonry repairs on wood burning stoves.
CARTRIDGE: Used for wood burning stoves. Metal to metal masonry repairs under 1/8”.
Directions
TUBE: Knead contents to uniform consistency. Cut tube tip to desired bead width. Calk necessary amount into opening. Press gasket firmly into cement. Allow 1 hour for setting. Heat gradually when starting first fire for heat cure.
CARTRIDGE: Clear all dirt, dust and debris from the aria to be cemented. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun. Cut tip to desired bead width.
Repairs: Lightly dampen the surface area with water. Apply cement with 1.8” bead.
Gasket replacement: Apply the least amount of cement necessary into the gasket door channel. Press the gasket firmly into the cement. Close the stove door and trim excess gasket. Clean-up excess cement with a wet cloth. Open stove door and allow 1 hour to dry. Heat gradually when starting first fire for heat cure. Not for exterior use.
